Floor Jack Pad/Adapter
anyone looking for a great adapter for their floor jack please be sure to check out the following link.
https://www.zl1addons.com/index.php/...ackpads-detail ordered this adapter for my floor jack on the advice of John at ZL1addons and it works great. just find a spot along the pinch weld near the factory jacking points. adapter will stay attached as it is magnetic. slide jack under adapter on car and off you go with no worries. used mine for the first time today while changing my wheels and it could not have been easier or safer. first time I really felt comfortable jacking car with the floor jack with no worries of damage or slipping. great product and highly recommended if you use floor jack. |

^ just by the look of that thing I have no idea how it would work with a conventional floor jack with a flat jacking surface. also it looks too wide to slip between lower rocker and pinch weld.

I just use a hockey puck. Works great, and have never had any damage to the body crease on any car. The puck is just soft enough to "fold in" and provide a nice, shallow v shaped slot to let the metal rest in, and it distributes the load equally over the entire surface to prevent in bends/damage.
Metal on rubber is much less likely to slip than metal on metal. Cheap on Amazon. |

^u would remove the cotter pin from under the saddle and the saddle comes off. thats how mine was. the adapter also come with a cylinder adapter if you have those full size floor jacks with the larger opening for the saddle

I took it one step further and used a drill to cut a notch in my hockey puck. Slides right in, no issues. Cost was free since one of my friend's kid plays ice hockey.

no one knows lol. i jus hope they cut the slit low enough that the weight of the car does not sit on the slit and sits on the sides of the puck instead.

Good find, but I just place the jack and a small wooden block under the frame rail and have no issues.
