Well.. the oem forged rims were alright. I don't think they were a downgrade as for everyone compliments my rims now, where as they used to go that's the cleanest G I have seen on stocks lol. So ... ya

I love quality more on power adders... rims they don't have to be Works, HRE's, or BBS for them to look good though. Plus I really don't like spending 3k on rims to have everyone and there 3rd cousin trying to figure out how to steal them.

"Downgrade" depends on whether you are measuring performance or appearance. And the latter is a matter of judgement.

Trust me If I wanted performance wheel based I would go for some light weight 18's. This is for a comfortable ride and looks good. I'm probably not taking it to the track and if I do I will probably get some cheap rims and really good tires.

if you have no issue rolling your fenders, i think the +22 specs on your wheels will be a good fit. its a popular offset on here.

18s would be a more comfortable ride than those...just sayin
Wheels/tires are not an area to skimp out on, it's what separates you from handling a pot hole to getting crushed by it...insert broke wheel face picture...

Wow thanks for that website lol... So that's what +22 offset looks like on our rides. Not bad.

Try rav spec for one if you want them. They're local to us and always have the best selections
Those gnosis's are sexy though. I have yet to see a G rock them. They're brand new for this year aren't they?

Pm me though

Alright... so I'm keeping the wheels I have.... I have always liked them and got nothing but compliments on em. The 30mm spacers on the rear are coming off, and I'm installing 20 mm one's that I have sitting in the trunk going "Why I get no love." I should be fine running the 20's and keeping the bearings wear at a minimum. I was going to put the 20's on the front but I know that would be a bad idea. The front of the car is the heaviest (engine) and the front wheels turn the car so having all this weight and steer on the bearings would definitely wear them out a lot faster. As for the rear compared to the front in weight is a lot lighter than the front especially on the G35's ... I cant even get traction on snow without sand bags in the back lol. So kudo's for the help, and guys running spacers know what's best for your car. Thanks again.

More good news than bad news: I finally had time to do some work on the ride so I took the right rear rim/tire off at the house and drove over to my buddy installers at Discount Tire. They popped that rim and tire on the Roadforce Tire balance machine and that tire was hopping like a Kangaroo during mating season. The rim is perfect but these cheap tires were off point from since I first bought them. Yep, the seller sold me a bad tire. Well I'm replacing that one tire that needs replacing and then it's fixed. Only thing is I'm going to need 2 new front tires soon also. I LOVE CARs... but they sure do cost a lot to maintain.

Conclusion: Don't spend money on cheap tires (unless you get a 40k+ mile warranty and the repair/new tire if anything happens insurance)... it will cost you more money in the long run. It might save u that little bit of money right then and there for that year, but later on the extra $ you had spent for installation and everything else with those used tires... it would be less money to buy good tires when you needed them. 2 used sets of tires probably wont last the length of one set of new tires. Installation costs add up. Stay Car Crazy my friends
