Tire size for Front Rays 19x8.0

Hey guys, I have a 2007 Coupe with the 19" rays (19x8 front, 19x8.5 rear).

I'm currently running the stock tire setup which is 225/40/19 front and 245/40/19 rear.

I need to replace my front two tires and was wondering if it's okay to put 245/40/19 in the fronts so that way, all 4 of my tires are the same size? Because I don't like how small the stock 225s look on the front.

What look are you going for? The crunched tire on wheel look? Stick to stock sizing, it's a 8" front it can't look huge . You'll likely lose performance too.

Im just looking for a bigger tire look on the front. I see some forum folks do 245/35/19 in the front. Would that look good paired with my OEM 245/40/19 in the rear?

If not, I'll just get another pair of OEM 225s for the front then.

The stock sizes look great man, these are 19's.

Stick to stock sizes. The engineers that built this car know it pretty well. Any "tire size modification" will not have significant change in looks. If you want wider buy wider wheels, but they are front so who cares?
