Pics of 20's on G35 COUPE

Re: Pics of 20's on G35 COUPE
I'm not really a fan of mesh style wheels, but I can appreciate the overall fitment. You can really tell when somebody does their homework , it comes out looking so much better. To the person who is concerned about VDC/TCS/ABS Speedo problems; don't be concerned. There hasn't been ONE instantance I've heard of, when somebody actually had this problem. There are enough nerdy, crabby, old-*** men out there who would just love to harp on the fact that somebody's SLIP light came on the instant he left the tire shop with 18's, 19's or (heaven forbid!) 20's. I'm sure we would have all heard about it by now. I've never had a problem with my 20's, and to my knowledge, no one else with a G35 has either. Just keep the wheels within 1/2 to 3/4in of original overall tire height (shorter or taller), and I'm sure you'll be just fine...

It's still too high off the ground though, IMO. Still throws off the speedo, odo, slows the car down... If I wanted to be that high off the ground, have a slower car, and have 20's I would've gotten an FX35 but that's just me.
Nice choice on the wheels though. The offsets/widths look good. I can't agree on the diameter though, but that just my opinion like you have yours.
I was all set on getting 20's, but there's only one positive (or should I say possible positive) yet there are numerous negatives and they far out weight the one and only reason to get 20's (because the wheel wells "look" massive).

Just to be clear, It won't keep me up at night because you decided to go with 19's. Like you said, it's your choice. For the record, my wheels are .5in. taller than stock, not a huge difference, just enough to fill the wheel well a little more than stock. Honestly, at first I wanted to go with 19's myself, but then I realized that; #1, I didn't want to lower the car, and #2, I wanted the low profile look. That for me made the size choice easy. Most people don't realize how big the wheel wells are on these cars, but think about it, we're going from 18's or even 17's to a 20 with no modifications , and it looks damn good. Of course you can go with 19's, but obviously you have to go with a taller profile tire, or lower the car, neither of which I wanted to do. I didn't get 20's because the wheel wells "look" massive, I got them because the wheel wells are massive. If they weren't, I'd have rubbing/clearance problems, and I don't.
