which upgrade best for wider look? 18" or 20" on 2003 g35 coupe?

Going to upgrade fro 17" tires and understand that running 245 40s (f) and 265/275 35s(r) would give wider- staggered look, but which would be better overall... the 18" or 20"? (new to this)

Better for what? Looks performance?

245/40 on a 20" wheel will be huge.
