03 G35 Coupe 6MT W/ Brembo

For the record I'm a female that's new to this world of Infiniti's, G35's and staggered rim setups so bare with me. Sorry if this topic has been beat to death but I'm still confused as I've searched and have read conflicting things.

I recently bought my 03 G35 Coupe 6MT that has the Brembo package obviously. It has a 19" staggered rim setup on it now. With winter coming I would like to daily it and I'm still confused on what set up I can actually run and what size, style, offset, width rim will fit, or even what size snow tires I can run.

The car is lowered on Tokico blues with Eibach springs. So I'm all sorts of confused with not only the rim/tire set up but also the clearance with it being dropped of what I can actually run. I don't care what rim 17, 18...I just want a good set up for winter

If anyone has any advice for me I would appreciate it. Good or bad. Thanks!

I -think- 18's is the smallest rim size you can run with the brembo's but someone might chime in and correct me. Getting a second set of rims (generics from a tire shop) so you can run 18" blizzaks or some other winter tire (stick to stock size, no extra offset, you need the room in the wheel well for accumulation of snow) is going to give you the best chance of surviving the winter. If you expect any snow and you're lowered then you're just going to be a snow plow, good luck... remove your front air dam (if there is one) or it's probably going to get ripped off.

If you do expect any snow I strongly recommend a $1000 beater with awd/4wd instead of the G but with the right tires you'll be good for about 4" of accumulation before you turn into a sled.

What size rubber is on it right now?

I'm not at the car right now so I'm not sure on size, I know they're 19s with summer tires that got to go before winter hits.

So from what I remember from my owners manual it said 18" with +30mm offset in the front and I think +33 in the rear. If that's true any rim of that size would fit over the brembo's just fine or no? I just don't know what to look for...thanks

I used to run aftermarket 17" wheels in the winter on my '04 6MT, and they fit over the Brembos just fine. I'm not sure what the offset is. I also ditched the staggered tire sizes and went with 225s in the rear for better traction (different aspect ratios in the rear to match, as close as possible, the original outer diameter).
