I've been looking through tons of threads and trying to learn my way around how wheels & tires fit, but it still is escaping me. I'm looking at a set of 20x9.5 (f) and 20x11 (r) wheels with 245x35x20 (f) & 245x40x20 (r) tires already on them and I just wanna make sure they're gonna fit my G before going forward. The tires aren't necessarily the brand I want so I plan on getting new ones later but since I currently only have my stock 18's setup they'll have to do for now. Also any recommendations for future tire brands or sizes would be great. I currently have the Hankook Ventus Evo12 on my 18's and love them, but I'm always open to new things!

 

Need more information to answer your question. What are the offsets of the wheels? Are you lowered at all or at stock height? If stock do you plan on lowering the car in the future? Your tires aren't that wide so if the offsets are right they should fit no problem. If you're lowered and the offsets are crazy low you might have to dial in more negative camber to get them to fit.
