Tires?

Hey guys whats the best way to tell how much tire life I have left? Is there a certain way of measuring other then just seeing that they're worn down? I see people all the time say they have 70% or 60% tire tread left, whats the best way to come up with these numbers? Thanks

Smile Look at the TWI

Look for "TWI" on the sidewall of your tire. It locates a ridge of rubber that runs across the thread grooves. The % worn is how much wearing surface rubber is worn away (thread depth to the top of the TWI) divided by the thread depth (to the top of the TWI) when the tire was new.
