Wheel Wax safe for Volk Racing?

Just wondering if this stuff is safe for the dish on the volk racing rims....to make it look good after wash, and polish out any water spots or what not....

nice find! our rims have a clear coat on the lip, so 2X check with tire rack and make sure that it will not ruin the finish. from the description it seems that it would be safe for our rims, its pretty much carnauba wax. as long as it doesnt have any abrasives, you are straight. i was advised not to put any type of cleaner or polish on the lip because of the clear coat. i simply use soap and water and dry with a soft towel and polish with a soft, clean dry towel.

I used Zaino on my wheels last week and I couldn't believe what they looked like when I was done... 2x better than when they came out of the box!

I also use a spray on cleaner for the wheels that's safe for clear-coated wheels - it's Meguire's Gold Class in a purple bottle - about $5-6 from AutoZone and works better than regular soap for cleaning off brake dust...

I went through a whole container of that stuff. It worked ok, but it really isn't anything special. I would just use Zaino, that's what I use on my GramLights, and it works great. Not saying its bad, just not great.

Sure, light scratches, but nothing different than any other wax. My personal opinion would be to use Zaino. The Wheelwax is practically pure carnuba. You're wheels warm up quite a bit, and carnuba doesn't tend to hold up well in very warm conditions. Since Zaino is synthetic, it won't break down in high temps. They did a great job marketing the product (beacuse there aren't any other wheel-specific waxes out), and they claim that you don't have to clean the wheels first because it has light cleansers in it. But that kinda weirds me out right there. Just my $.02.

Nice, I love Zaino. I must say, however--Zaino changed their formula last year, and I don't like it as much as the original. It is much thinner, and streaks easier. Oh well, that is a whole different subject. Good luck with the wax-I hope it works for you.
