Softer ride on a G coupe?
I currently have the stock Performance Tire and weel package on my G coupe.
I would like to upgrade to 19's and lower the car a little, I would also like a softer ride since I live in Boston (pothole heaven).
I bought the car as more of a luxury sports coupe (compared to a CLK, that sort of thing). I love a firm ride but thesuspension on this car is so unforgiving here in New England where the roads are total ****. I often travel with it out of state and I absolutely love the car whendriving it in a city with normally smooth roads.
I'm not a performance freak, I just LOVE the coupe and how it looks. I don't really push the car to its limits. I would however like to drop it a little, and put on a nice set of deep-dish 19's. Strictly for the look. There are a lot of luxury cars riding on OEM 19's (Merc, BMW, etc.) that have a much softer ride.
Do you guys think that an adjustable suspension setup will be able to absorb more impact, while still letting me lower the car?
I'm not one to complain about stiff suspension, but if you lived in Boston you'd understand.
Any salvation for me? Thanks for any input.
BTW, I have searched on this topic and found some info, bu on sedans only.

Hey vodkarocket, thanks for the reply.
With the Tein CS and a lowering set of springs + camber kit... can I expect even tire tread wear? And is there any way to get around the $1600 sticker price for those CS's?? I'm guessing the whole suspension setup will cost me around 3k?
