Tires on the 'Canada' Coupes?
1. Will 215/60/16 winter tires from Sedan fit on the A/T Coupe? (not ideal but will they fit on non Brembo)
2. Is the stock tire size on the Canada Coupe? :
FR.- 225/45/18
REAR- 245/45/18
3. What brand and speed rating was delivered on Canada Coupes?
4. Is the spare a full spare or a doughnut and what size?
Thanks for any info. My new Laser Coupe (A/T) should be here mid. Jan.

1. 16 inch tires will not be suitable for the coupe. 17 inch are standard for the AT and the performance package will get you the 18 inch wheels, the MT comes standard with 18 inch wheels.
2. If you purchase an AT, the standard tires are 225/50/17 in the front and 235/50/17 for the rear. As mentioned, the performance package will give you 225/45/18 in the front and 245/45/18 for the rear. The 18 inch tires are standard for the MT.
3. The 17 inch tires are Goodyear all season radials, I think with a V rating. The 18 inch tires are Z rated, Michelin Pilot Sports. These are high performance tires, suitable for summer driving only.
4. The spare is a doughnut, and I think the rim is 16 inches.

Many thanks biscotti. My dealer is lost without brochure on coupe and our web site isn't up to date yet. Can you suggest a source of info for me (other than the forums)? I'm getting a lot of misinformation from sales and dealer types. Do you happen to know if the LSD is on all Canadian Coupes? My people say it is! But I thought if was only on the 6M/T. Likewise I was told the wing wasn't available unless I had a 6M/T. Is the aero package a part of all coupes? This also causes some confusion. I'm glad someone knows what the hell's going on , Later

Hi gsedanman. The LSD is standard on the 6MT. To get this on the 5AT, you have to have order the "performance package". This gets you the 18 inch wheels, the summer performance tires, the LSD and also the interior titanium trim on the console. This package is only an additional $1000 CDN, so its a very good deal. If you are contemplating the 5AT, I would suggest that you consider the performance package. The 18 inch wheels look much better than the 17 inch ones. The aero package, including the trunk spoiler is an option on both the 5AT and 6MT, it is not standard on either. Prior to taking delivery of my G35C, I have found Fresh Alloy forums to be extremely helpful. Take care and good luck.
