Is it bad to get springs and not shocks. Im interested in Tein S-Techs!
Just a quick question. I am interested in getting Tein S-Techs but i do not want to put to much straign on my stock shocks. Is it bad for the car to get just springs w/out shocks too?
What would the benefits be of getting coilovers? I know that it would be much more expensive, but is it worth it?
My overall objective is to keep the stock feel (maybe a bit more response in the turns) and have the car look a bit more aggressive, yet not have the car bounce around like a hooptie...
Any suggestions guys? thanks...

The stock shocks will hold up for a while, but once you drop the car, the stock shocks are no longer designed for the springs/springrate you are using, so they will get shot = bouncing around like a homie in an integra.
if you dont see yourself ever adjusting the ride height again, just get a set of springs and shocks that are meant to work together for the drop/ride you are looking for..but if you want to be changing ride heights all the time, then i guess coil overs is what you want

I agree, the stock shocks probably aren't designed for a drop the S-Techs give as well as the spring rates. Eventually the stock shocks may start leaking after getting worn down. I highly suggest you pair those S-Techs with Konis or Tokicos, the latter being cheaper.
