225 or 235 on oem 17s..

anyone running 225 or 235 all around on their stock 17s.....if so, was there a noticeble differene as to handling/cornering? thanks.

I am running a 225/55R17 Ventus ZR2 or something like that.

I don't particularly think this tire has much more traction than the Goodyears they replace. Remember, there's more to overall grip and cornering than just section width. Sidewall construction, compound, and many many other factors all combine to make a tire better (or worse) than what it replaces.

Avon makes a 225 which is a good replacement for the OE tire as well as a 215 which is a direct size replacement. Tirerack carries them. Look into it.
