My Tires are Wearing Thin

I went in for my 30,000mil maintainence and they suggested that i replace my balding tires (215/50-17)... i've been looking around online and i was thinking about maybe the Toyo Proxes TPT or the Avon Tech M500 to save money. Anyone have suggestions on which one or any other tires i could consider?

tires are very important. They affect the car in many aspects such as road noise, traction, handling and etc. Do a bit of research on tire.com or tirerack.com to determine the correct thread wear, speed, season and etc to fit your need.
