Well sort of. I had my front passenger rim replaced on my 05 Coupe today. While I was waiting in the service department, one of the parts guys rolls in my rim and seemd pretty excited. I asked him why he was excited. He said that the rims are made by Rays Engineering, the folks that make Volks. (I'm a poet and don't even know it!) I asked him, "How do you know?" He lays the rim down and in the center by the lug holes is the Rays Engineering name stamped in the rim. So I asked him if we can weigh it. Turns out to be 20lbs!
Infiniti should be commended for putting on 20lb. 19" forged aluminum wheels made by Rays Engineering as the stock wheels on the coupes. Woohoo!

FYI...the 350Z Track Model has had Rays forged wheels for three years also.
Hmmm...have not seen this info before. The new 19s are still a big improvement over previous year's rims though.

Weight-wise, yes. Looks-wise, let's just say we'll agree to disagree on that one! Originally Posted by scoobybri
