Anyone Regret Getting 20s?

I did the same analysis and do not concure.
The stock 215-55-17s and my new 20s that I just ordered (245/35/20) is exactly a .46." difference in total height. Now given that I'm running an 8.5" wheel, I expect that the tire will "stretch" just a bit over an 8" wheel so the height will still be in the .40" range. HECK! That's .2" larger all the way around, so the car will be .2" higher, and fill in .2" more of the fender well gap.
Not a huge difference in my opinion. I drive my *** off, and the weight difference, size difference, Etc will not be a bog deal. Anyone that says it is is just stirring up the pot. IMO.
Come on guys, most of you so called "racers" still drive to work and back like the rest of us. Sure I play, often actually, and I live in sunny CA where we have awesome roads and twisty canyons all over the place. I can't notice a difference, so I doubt a lot of other people will.
(off my soap box now...) =)
