Anyone put spacers on the sedan's stock rear wheels? I would love to change the springs/wheels, but personally can't live with the existing sport suspension's ride being any stiffer. For the time being at least, I'd like to bring the rear wheels out about 3/4 inch, to give the car a slightly more aggressive look. I wish they would have given the sedan more of the coupe's sportiness. I have seen the coupe's posts on the subject but was wondering if there are any pictures or info on the sedan with stock wheels. Thanks.

 

I don't know about spacers as far as safety, however go to www.wheelspacer.com and perhaps they can make you some. Also, you mentioned the ride being more stiff with different springs. I put in the Eibach Pro Kit, and the ride is not at all stiff. I can't tell any difference at all in comparison with the stock springs. And even on the stock wheels, it looks so much better. Just my 2 cents.

 

There's nothing really unsafe with using spacers, they bolt on just like your wheel.

I had Eibach springs on my last car, the ride was good for about a year until the stock shocks went out. So you may want to plan on replacing your shocks along with your springs.

Wow - that's great. I had a Maxima that I put Eibachs on and it was quite a difference, but that car stock was pretty soft. Did your car have the sport suspension to begin with?

 

I had the sport suspension to start off with. I hope my shocks don't blow out, but I don't see why the stock shocks would do that. The eibach's only lower it just over 1". It really looks and handles better though.
