How much they run?

I have heard that the S03's are noisy and do not offer as good grip as some other tires around the same price.

I read the reviews on the Goodyear GS-D3's. Seems some people said the sidewalls were rather soft, some said they were noisy as well, but others seemed to like 'em.

Really? I loved the grip of S03's. I felt the grip was sufficient for my 430+rwhp Supra Plus, they have great characteristics when they start to break away. The slide is very gradual, and the recovery is easily done. Nothing unpredictable even when you're sliding around. I used to slide all over the place with big grin on my face with my Supra

I just remembered that I used to have SP9000's on IS300. The grip level was good, but not as good as S03. And they break away suddenly... I almost got put into the wall because of it. They make lots of noise before losing grip though, giving you plenty of warning Overall, good tires but not worth the money. The road noise was moderate from my memories... about the same as the stock Pilots on our cars I think.

I decided to go with Goodrich KDW's. So far so good. Great on surface streets. I haven't taken them on the freeway yet, but I'll let you know.

S03's are also very heavy...but they make up for its traction and good looks.

I typically use S03's or GS-D3's. but im willing to try G-Force down the road.

So far the best bang for the buck as been the ES100's from my experience
on previous cars. but it has some serious tramlining issues when you use
wide tires on the front. SpecII's were also very good, but doesn't look
that aggressive.

Worst tires were Nitto's. looks good, but would never get them again.

The SO3s are a bit noisy. I'm running them on the stock 19s. I've heard some good things about BFG GF...

I am running KDW's in stock sizes, with just about 500 miles on them, so far pretty impressed. Noise level seems to equal to that of the pilots, but again they are still pretty new. Dry grip is very good and the wet handling is amazing. We had a pretty decent rainstorm last week and I was cruising along at 80 mph on the highway with no problems whatsoever. Very confident rain tire. The only negative so far is the cornering stabilty, not quite as confident taking turns at high speeds as I was in the Pilots. The deciding factor on these tires for me though was the price and not to mention the tread pattern is pretty cool IMO.

Already looking ahead to my next of tires though- Toyo T1-R on 19 Volks SF Challenges.(coming soon) I have heard some good things about these tires.

I've tried many tires over the years, including these. IMO don't do it. They are quiet for 5K miles then get louder. They burn up fast too. Performance and comfort are crappy. Remember, you get what you pay for. Modding is not for the faint. Michelin is the best tire money can buy.
