Brake pads - which is better?

Alright I'm in the market for new brake pads. My choices are Hawk HPS, Porterfield, Nismo, and OEM Brembo. Which pads is best. I'm want something thats quiet, gentle on the rotors, good grip. I've heard many horrible stories of brake pads that destroy the rotors. So please give me some advice. Thanks.

Lots of people have tried the Hawks with much success. I've used Portfields on my other car and they rock. So I'm still caught up between those two for the G, those and some Endless pads aswell.

I think I'll try the Hawk Pads because they are cheaper. My friend has them on his evo but they seem to squeak a lot though.

Try Project Mu B-Force Pads. They are great.

I tried Stock, Satisfied Ceremic, Hawk HPS and Project Mu B-Force Pad.

Project Mu was superior to all the pads I mentioned.

Low noise, Great stopping power, little dust.

Here is a tread which I posted updates about Project Mu B-Force Pad.

I am not sure but so far, I don't think they eat up the rotors like some pads.

How long have you had them? Cuz I know the Hawks were supposed to be really kind on the rotors.

Fit on '05 6MT coupe?

Do the project MU pads fit on front and rear for 05 6MT coupes? I assume so but want to make sure before I order them.

Where can I purchase Project MU pads? And how much did you get them for? And when you had the Hawks what were negatives about them?

Have the EBC Greenstuff pads myself. Happy with the performance, but best of all is VERY limited break dust. If that's a consideration for you.

I've heard very bad things about EBC Greenstuff pads. Two of my friends had them in the past and they eat the rotors. I'm looking for pads that are gentle as OEM's would be to the rotors.

Speaking of brake pads, anyone know if there's a DIY to change the pads for a Brembo setup? I looked in the DIY forum and didn't see anything.

I'll see how much I can get the Project MU's for, our Brembo application is the same as the 350Z track model, correct?

I used EBC Green Stuff on my other car before and I hated them. Worst aftermarket pads I've ever used and ever since then I will never buy any EBC product ever again.

I called for pricing on those Project MU B-Force pads. $98 for the fronts and $92 for the rears, so $190 for the set. Special order though, so it might take a little bit to get them, but I think I'm gonna have to get me a set once mine are out
