Questions about replacing Rotors...
Now, I have heard that the stock rotors on a G35 can go rather quickly (like after 20,000 miles!), so I figure I should replace the rotors soon. However, cash is a little slim, so I had 2 questions:
1. I hear a slight squeeking at low speed braking on my car, should I fix them ASAP? If so, I already have HAWK HPS Brake Pads (not installed yet), should I just have the stock rotors resurfaced and put them on?
2. If I should not even bother with getting the stock ones resurfaced, should I buy just a front set of rotors and get the rear later?
According to my friend, the rotors do not look too bad. Plus my dealer looked at them a month ago and said they were at 50%, should I just wait?

I just checked out my rotors the other day, and in the front there is a pretty nice lip on them and I've only got 13k on mine. Did you accually see yours? If so was ther a pretty nice size lip on it? Im getting mixed responses on pre-mature rotor wear, some say that Z's and G's have ceramic pads wich wear the rotor quickly and should be changed around 15K, and some say that they are messed up. lol. Any input would be apprciated! Oh and I DO NOT have Brembos (wish I did haha).
Oh and If its squeeling that means that your pads are at their "Squeelers" which mean the PADS should be changed. Although looking at my rotors, yours probably should be changed too.
