What about the tire pressure sensor on new wheel?
What about the tire pressure sensor on new wheel?
Whenever one gets new wheels, do you move the tire pressure sensor-valve stem to the new wheels?
Is it true these puppies cost +$100?

My car came with TPS, but my SSR GT3's with S03's are not using the
valves from the factory 18's..... ive yet to get a low tire pressure error light...

either my TPS is broken, or tirerack installed the valve as service, or my
TPS is abs sensor-based? hummmm... ive had the SSR's for over 1k miles.
(not that I care to have TPS working...those are just another pita
thing to worry about imo. I check tire pressure regularly and only drive
my G on the weekends).

Got Ro_Jas and left the sensors off. There is a way to ghetto rig them inside the wheel before you put the tire on it. Has to do with getting plumbers wrap and strapping the sensor down to the inside of the wheel...it HAS to be secure or else it will fly off when you going at a high rate of speed.
But like I said, mine are off...never had the light come on...and I check my tires regularly also...

Does anyone know if there is a DIY for doing this aside from ghetto riggin it? Are the sensors part of the valve stem or another piece attached on the inside of the rim?
Thanks everyone for the input

cool. Maybe the light'll come on when i put the factory wheels back on
and the pressure goes down on one of them... oh well.
