Michelin Pilot Sport A/S
Michelin Pilot Sport A/S
Just replaced my crappy Goodyear RSA at 19k with Michelin Pilot Sport A/S ..Would love to hear from you guys that have Michelins what your tire pressure is set at so the center of the tire doesn't go bald quickly ..thanks everyone !
Did only the centers of the rears go bald, or the fronts too? If you do a lot of hard accelerating and burnouts, the rears will wear down but on the fronts, you will probably get the shoulders wearing down before the centers do. Can you rotate tires w/ the 17's? Are they the same size f/r?
From over 20 years of buying performance tires I think Michelins are the best tires in the world....well, in the US. I also have the Pilot Sport A/S. In the winter I fill the tires to 40 psi. In the summer it's 38. The heat causes the air to expand and the pressure increases, in case anyone is wondering why lower in the summer. I've done it this way for years and get great mileage from my tires.
