+1. I don't think it's worth all the trouble to go and take them to court. That will just make everything more stressful. Just powdercoat the wheels and enjoy the prjoect. And maybe if everyone keeps giving you the "offset" excuse...maybe it is the truth?

I think it looks fine too. I definately think it would like way better with the thinner spokes. My issue is that when I picked out the rims I based my decision on the picture of the thin spokes. I paid almost $5K for rims and tires and I should get what I thought I was getting.

I have been talking to Asanti and now they are telling me that the 19's only come in thick spokes. They should say that on their website!

They might be right, but does that mean the thin spokes only come on the 18"? Here's a pic of a Z on 20" and it has the thick spokes too...

If worse comes to worst you can always sell them since they're almost new and get some HREs or w/e you like with thinner spokes..

Good find! The more I think of it it seems they don't know their heads from their *****. I think the reason for the thin spokes is because of the brembo's. Go back and look on Asanti's website and you will see that the hub for the thin spokes is not as thick as the hub for thick spokes. You can see in the picture that the thick spoke hubs are much thicker.....maybe needed to clear the brembo's. Do you know if that 350z has the brembo package?

IMO, I like the thicker spokes better. Shows more chrome. If the style or design showed more multi spokes, than the thinner spokes would look better.

They said the smaller wheels come in thick spokes.

If worst comes to worst, I am powder coating them. Before I do, I am going to write a letter to the CEO of Asanti explaning the situation and telling them I want another set. If they don't come in thin spoke then I want a different series because I ordered the thin spokes on their website. If they were not available for my car they should have told me. Here are the ones I will ask for if they don't have thin spoke AF 116. Let's see what happens....

Last year I almost ordered the Asanti af121. Didnt feel like waiting 2-3 months so instead bought " G352NV's " extra new set of Iforged Evos.

It's a touring model so most likely not. Here's the full add

So smaller wheels come with thick spokes? I call BS, yeah right then only 22" come with the thin spokes. Don't know what to tell you anymore! If you end up keeping these, just powdercoat them black, it would still look sick as hell.

How did you copy this picture from Asanti's website? I am trying to copy a picuture of the truck chrome rims but can not do it. Can you help me? I am writing a letter to Asanti and I need to post this picture in the letter.

TIA!

Sure, what I did was hit the "Print Screen" key and then paste it in Paint or Photoshop and crop it out and save it as a jpeg. If you're having problems, let me know which pic exactly you need and PM me your email and I'll do it for ya. Or I can post it on here.

I think your car looks hot dood. Keep the wheels. I m sure the 5 spoke will have more problems with bending. The more spokes you have the more structurally sound the wheel is. Once you start going bigger than 18"s, the lips are a lot easier to bend.

If you don'y get any relief from Asanti, sell them to me. I'll take them off your hands for a good price.
