So, I'd like to possibly get a BBK for my G, I just like the look of big breaks really, more than being able to stop better. If I were to install a BBK, anything different than stock in terms of maintenance? Living in a winter climate with salt/sand. Any maintenance I have to do on them (different from say a stock pair)?

thnx.

this is a good question, and hopefully someone more knowledgeable than me will be able to answer it.

here is a FAQ from Stop-tech about maintaining hat and rotor assemblies in areas with road salt. http://www.stoptech.com/faq/data/faq32.htm

Also keep in mind that the brembos sold on the 03/04s have been used in salt environments by many people on this forum. I have not heard anything from them about any other problems caused by winter driving beyond the norm.
