Any problems with purchasing USED SPRINGS?

I was curious if it matters whether or not a spring set is used or not, I am in the market for a used set of STECHS, 5000 miles on them...

Just curious =)

no problem at all. springs will take an initial set, but will not wear out.

Would be careful about buying used shocks or struts though. No telling if those are good or not until you get them on the car.

5k miles you won't be able to tell a difference other than that it's pre-broken in.

Springs will sag over time, but that's gonna be a much longer period of time and way more miles than that...
