Sedan Wheel Fitment??????????????

I am new to this forum but, I have searched it for Sedan wheel fitment plenty! I just would like to know what is the Maximum tire size I can fit on the front and rear without any negative issues ie. rubbing, out past fender, performance, etc. Again I have read the charts and searched a lot for this imformation but, regretfully I haven't found any definitive answers on the maximums for "tire size" Everything I searched for is referring to wheel size but, since the tire is wider than wheel that is what I want to know.

I am a previous mustang owner and lived on Stangnet.com and SVTperformance.com. I love these forums because everybody can give such valuable information about these cars that we love so much.

Maybe I'll ask it this way. What is the maximum tire size that I can put on an eight inch wheel all the way around the car with front offsets being 35-38 and rear being 38-45????????????? Please help so I can make my car look PIMP ASAP.

I have seen people on this thread with 275 tires on the rear. Did you role the fender or is that stock. By the way my car has stock suspension.

with 8" rims you will have no problem.
Check your mfg tire chart for size to rim relationship.

An 8" should be maxed with a 235 tire.

I'm currently running 255s on 8.5" with 42 offset all around

Do your 255s stick out of the fender at all or are they flush? Do you have pictures of the car from the front and rear view? My goal is to run 255-275 in the rear and 245 up front. Can this be accomplished and what offsets do I need for this?

Thanks for the help!

I am running 245/35/19 and 275/30/19, no rubbing issues at all, no need for fender trimmin or rolling :-)

So you are telling me if I purchased 18x8.5 wheels with +45 offset I would have no problem running 265s in the rear and 245 up front. And they wouldn't stick out of the fender at all???
