My New iForged Daytona's & an ALOHA!
My New iForged Daytona's & an ALOHA!
Aloha all, I have been perusing the forums here for a while and am a big fan of the G-cars. While I don't have one of my own, I still wanted to participate in the forum and introduce myself.
First off, big thanks to Vince and the team at iForged. I am happy to post it's another deal gone perfect!
Here are the first pics of my new wheels. My old stuff was a set of 18x10 & 19x11" iForged Aero's in Hyperblack. 2" lip in front and a 3" lip out back. They were the first wheels to get the Hyperblack finish from iForged and set a new standard for the company. They have now been replaced with iForged Daytona's in 19x9.5 & 20x11" sizes.
Today, I got in my new set of wheels, which are another first for iForged. They are the first set of the new Xtreme Lip Technology designs made for a Corvette. The new XLT design allows for a 2.5" lip in front that will now fit a big brake kit, and a 4" lip out back to maximize that aggressive look. I have examined these very closely and am pleased to say that the build quality looks excellent.....even better than before. The center section where it bolts to the hub is sturdier and the spokes look stronger and have seemingly more depth.
The Hyperblack fnish has also come a long way as well. It seems much more uniform and evenly coated over the wheel surface. The polished finish is flawless and I couldn't locate a flaw anywhere on the front or rear lip. I am extremely pleased. The only shortcoming is that there are currently no tires available in the sizes I need, so it looks like this will be the look for at least a month or so. Check out the pics and lemme know what you think! You guys can find more pics in my gallery at www.efiunlimited.com.
Aloha, Dave

the rims look great...although it seems a little suspect to me for some odd reason...did vincent pay you to write that post?? lol...i think this would be the first positive post i've heard about ifored in like 12 months...
Thanks for the feedback guys.
As far as getting paid to say good things....Nah, I pay myself and am VP for another company. Vince and I are actually pretty good friends and we've been working together for a while. He sponsors one of my endeavors - EFI Unlimited the Car Club. In Hawaii, we are gearing up to build showcars with the intent of moving overseas to the states to get started on a larger scale. Aside from that, I feel he's stepped up to take care of me as much as possible, and I've helped build some reputation for iForged in the Domestic market.
Our car club has chapters and members that reach as far away as New Jersey and Florida, and you'll also find EFI in SoCal, Washington, Colorado, and Vegas. We are always looking for the most innovative, high powered, and pimped rides around. I'm hoping we can draft some killer G's.

Wassup Sen_Jen. Figured I'd run into you here as well!
Thanks guys for the encouraging feedback. YOu are very gracious.
GStatus, my Aero's were the first set done in Hyperblack from iForged....despite Vince telling me otherwise initially, it came out great.
Finiti35, I am running the Magnusson MP112 w/Intercooler and some other goodies.....I haven't dyno'd yet, and running at the track on 19's was futile netting a best of 11.7 @ 121mph. My list is too long to post here, but here are some other pics of the car. Blue LED Lighting, Race Seats, Coil-Overs, Body Kit, blah blah blah.....
