Re: FISKE Wheels
I went through a Fiske infatuation awhile back. I think, if money were no object, they're the best compromise between (classy) looks and performance. 17x10s weigh only 18 pounds. 18x10s weigh 20 pounds. The stylings are conservative (no huge lips or the machined look), but with the Full Polish treatment you get better "bling" without the cheap chrome look.
Basically, there are faster wheels (Volks) and prettier wheels (let's say HRE), but I think Fikse has the fastest pretty wheels. Unfortunately, while they're not as absurd as HREs in price, they're still in the $800 per wheel and up range. I'm not spending $3500 on wheels, no matter how high quality. That's most of the way toward the cost of twin turbos, and no way in hell near the gain in performance or fun. But I'd be proud to put them on my G if someone handed them to me.

Re: FISKE Wheels
I'm a big fan of the Fikse FM5 wheel, lightweight and classy looks. Suprisingly, the stock 5 spoke Infiniti wheel has a very close resemblance to the FM5 wheel. Ultimately, I would love a set of Fikse 18" wheels to compliment my sedan. In combination with some larger tires they would provide better traction and retain the stock look.

Re: FISKE Wheels
I have the Fikse FM5s on my race car. Fikse are some serious wheels. They took home 1 place 3 consecutive years in a row in the IMSA Supercar series, and is still the top choice of wheels with many Ferrari, Viper, Porsche, and Corvette race teams. They were used strictly as a race wheel up until the early 90s and now they are only offered on high performance sports cars. You can even order them with single hub.
All Fikse wheels are custom made 3 piece wheels. Unlike HREs they are rotary forged which is much stronger, and they have a cleaner look with the bolts being on the inside of the wheel. If you want a serious race wheel, this is it. They made their name in racing. Personally, I don't think this is a wheel for the G but who knows.
My vette pictured below is riding on 18x8.5 front with 255x35x18s and 18x13 in the back with 335x30x18s. I am running Hoosiers Rs303 Front and back. I don't remember exactly what they weigh but I think the fronts are 16lbs and the back are 19lbs.
