BBK stopping power compared to stock?

For those with BBKs or those who are knoweldgable about this subject, what percentage would you say a car will improve on stopping distance. For example a G35c will stop from 60-0 in lets say 160ft. Adding a stoptech brake kit will decrease the distance by how much? Or do these BBK just provide better life during prolonged track use? I am a newbie to the whole BBK performance concept so please enlighten me. Thanks in advance.

BBKs will not stop the car faster. What a BBK will help with is brake fade. BBKs help to dissipate heat better. This will help keep the pads, fluid, rotor, caliper from overheating. BBKs are generally geared towards owners who run tracks with multiple hard stops.

If you want shorter braking distance, pad compound and tires are where to look. (some suspension as well) Agressive pads will stop faster; however, rotors take a beating. Softer tire compounds will have better stopping power then AS radials.

The stock ABS is one of the limiting factors. You can only apply so much pressure before the ABS kicks in and takes control.

I would concur that a BBK is not really intended to stop the car in a shorter distance. [At least that was my mind set when I was getting my BBK.] Perhaps it does a little bit, but then the ABS is really the limiting factor. This I have experienced, as I was "testing out" my BKK after the installation.
