Warranty on OEM wheel finish?

I bought my 04 6mt coupe used and someone has apparently used something strong on the painted 18 inch wheels at some time to clean them. The paint is now streaked and is thin is some spots. The tire machine at the local tire shop also rubbed some paint off when the tires were put on. It seems that the paint on the wheels may not have been applied properly or was not thick enough or something.

Have there been any issues with thin paint on the OEM wheels? I would have thought the paint to be a little tougher and resistant to these types of things.

Has anyone had Infiniti warranty the wheel finish?

I'm not counting on anything, but was wondering if there may be some instances where others have had this happen and what Infiniti may have done about it.
