I posted interest in HRE rims, but the price shock turned me away. My alternative is the BBS RS-GTR in black with polished lip. Where is a good place to find these with the best price? I want 19". What's the proper offset and exceptable widths? I want staggered wheels, and much wider in the rear.

 

Those aren't really that affordable either...Tirerack has them posted for $875 ea. for 19x8.5. On superbuytires.com the Maya STM (below) is $700 ea. , $800 chrome.

Also, other low price alternatives are the Axis Supermesh, Axis Mesh2, the ADR M-Sport and M-Classic. Quality questions have been raised about ADR, and Axis prices are almost as good (too good to be true? who knows?)

Some guy on my350.com is selling his set of Maya STMs 19x9 and 19x10 with tires for $1800. The only problem is that the wheels need to be refinished by a pro it seems. Looks like some acid ate the clearcoat and paint on them...
