Question about rotors...

I would like to get a set of slotted and cross drilled rotors. I've had these on several cars (including my old '04 350Z) and they look pretty cool. I don't do any track time so I'm not going to abuse my brakes/rotors. My question is, I have an '05 6MT sedan. Are the rotors from the earlier model "Brembo" 6MTs the same as the new ones or are the the basic rotors found on all G35s? Reading the brochure the rotors sizes are 12.6" front and 12.1" rear for the G35 and 6MT. Again, is this the same rotor size as earlier base models ('03-'04) or the 6MT cars with Brembos? I can't remember what size rotors my base 350Z had....

No the '05 G35's got bigger rotors than pre '05 Non-Brembo G35's. The Brembos from the '03 and '04 coupes are still the biggest though. The '05's also got 2-piston calipers while the pre '05 Non-Brembos only have 1.

'05 Coupes and Sedans:
Front: 12.6-inch x 1.1-inch power-assisted vented disc
Rear: 12.1-inch x 0.63-inch power-assisted vented disc

'03 and '04 Non-Brembo Coupes and Sedans:
Front: 11.7-inch X 0.9-inch power-assisted vented disc
Rear: 11.5-inch X 0.6-inch power-assisted vented disc

'03 and '04 6MT Brembo Coupes:
BremboŽ brakes
Front: 12.76-inch x 1.18-inch power-assisted - 4 pistons
Rear: 13.07-inch x 0.87-inch power-assisted - 2 pistons
