New EIBACH G35c Pro-Kit LOWER than Advertised

Just Installed the New G-35c Eibach Pro-Kit.
The advertised Drop is: Fronts -0.7"
Rears -0.5"
However the actual drop on my Car was:
Fronts -1"
Rears -0.7"
These measurments were taken in the same spot in my garage. I think this really changed the looks of the Car for the Better & no scraping so far even w/ the speed humps in my Nieghborhood. More PICS. on Page 11 in the Rides Section...

I have to agree with rugratcoupe. My car has settled, and the front dropped more than the rear. HE is pretty dead on with his measurements. Still the car turned out nicely.

Here's a before and after picture I took. You can see the front lowered a bit more than the back.

I lowered my car a week after I got the rims. The after picture was taken 3 weeks after I lowered it.

dgussin1, I don't rub.

I have a sedan with Eibach's and stock 17s. The rear has pretty much settled and I can't stick a straight finger in the rear at all. It has to be bent upwards. The front is about one straight finger only. I actually wouldn't mind going even lower, but what can ya do?

It's still a G thang!!

how did the ride change after you put on the eibach springs? is it a lot stiffer than stock?

Re: New EIBACH G35c Pro-Kit LOWER than Advertised

The Eibach's feel the same cause they pretty much are the same, the differance is the progressive bit, a compromise between comfort and performace.
Stock spring rates
350Z: 347/419
G35 coupe and sedan sport: 357/407

Eibach 350Z spring rates front 296/384 rear 316/421
Eibach G35 sedan front 259/334 rear 359/413
(I don't have coupe eibach coupe rates, but I'm postive they'll be the same as the sedan's)
Notice the high numbers for the front and the rear are real close to the numbers for the the stock springs, that's what I mean, their pretty much the same.

Why are there two numbers for the Eibach spring rates? Is it because they are progressive and the numbers are range of the spring rate depending on the compression?

Re: New EIBACH G35c Pro-Kit LOWER than Advertised

so which eibach springs are these numbers from? I just removed the JIC FLTA2 suspension from my car and went to stock (Too low (my fault they are adjustable) and too hard). I want to lower the car (it looks funny after being lowered for months) but dont want to give up the ride? Which springs should I get. I only want to lower it about 1 inch and keep the same ride comfort.

Yes, Eibach show's you the softer progressive rate first. The second higher rate take's effect once the softer part of the springs coils bind together. At that point your riding on the higher spring rate.

The G35 rates I have are for the sedan application.

Based on what you want you the eibach's would be the best choice. Performance wise, a non progressive linear spring would be better. But with ride quality looking like it's priority number one for you, go with the eibachs.
