Thumbs up Damaged rim repair Part 2 *Pics*

This is the second time I smacked my front rim....
Same rim....different spot.
Trying to avoid getting too close to another car, I ended up curbing the rim so I wouldn't get a ding!!!!

The place did a fantastic job, just like the first time, and I'm completely satisfied with the results......so it is possible to fix the OEM 18" rims if they know what their doing with the paint....

SORRY THE PICS DIDN'T LOAD I saw them on my end!! Let me know if they posted.......
Damage I sustained.....

The repair....clear needs to cure so I can rub it out for the full gloss.....should be as good as new...

I had the work done on site at my Dealership....work performed by JerseyShore alloy wheel specialists....
Price was $125.00.

I would have paid double to restore the wheel to the way it was......

You could have bought a used, uncurbed, scratch free rim for $125.

it looks like you ride curbs. usually a curb mark is simple, but yours looks like you curb it, and continue "scratching, makin' beats" or something !! no offense. the job did turn out spectacular.

I know, it did look that way.....It wasn't a smooth concrete type of curb. It was rough blocks of stone.....so the wheel rode up on the curb, and then slid down as I rolled forward......Thanks for the kind words.......

Wow what an amazing job. How does it feel tho? Nice and smooth or is it rough at the areas?

I was amazed at how well they filled in the damaged areas. I wasn't there to see how they did it, but I can only tell there was a repair by the slight overspray/dull appearance of the repaired area. Once the clear coat cures, I will rub it out and I'm sure it will look as good as new......... Thanks for the compliment.

GR8TG35,
Those guys are great. When you recommended them to me in August, my wheel was messed up just as badly along the lip and the damage extended about 2-3 inches up one of the spokes as well. Now I practically can't tell that the wheel has been worked on.

Then again, it is a front, and I usually can't see $hit under the brake dust anyway.
