Some of you may remember I posted a while ago about how the dealership damaged my rims while putting in through their carwash. Well, this week I took it in and they repaired my rims for free. Did a pretty good damn job, IMO. Here is the before picture

Sorry, one more pic. Had to thank my Valentine One from saving me from oooh, about 10 speeding tickets so far. This thing rocks.

The rim looks like it was never damaged. Enjoy your ride.
I have to get myself one of those valentine 1's.

Hey i have a damaged rim too. Although it was my fault. Does every infiniti dealer have the ability to fix rims or where did you get it fixed

I'm betting that most Infiniti dealerships have an outside source that fixes damaged rims. Since mine were damaged by the dealership itself, I do not know the cost. Good luck.

It cost about 75-100 per wheel...you can usually get it done at a powdercoat shop...or your local rim/tire dealer.

I need to look into that. I just scratched up my right rear rim. I really miss having my automatic-reverse passenger mirror.
Anyways, the dealer got roadrash on my front left rim before I picked up the car and I had them "fix" that. When I was washing my rims the other day, I noticed that the exact same rim feels different from the rest of them. All the other rims feel smooth and when I feel the repaired rim, it feels like a coarse sandpaper that was painted over. This is the entire repaired rim, not just parts of it. Strange...

well after they fix that part they have to repaint the whole wheel. Maybe its a bad paint job.
Just buy Brilliant Silver touch-up paint. It matches the rim color if it's not that bad.

Repairing rim damage costs way more than $75-100. Mine was about half as much as kdoginchitown's and I got an estimate of about $180. I got my estimate from Infiniti. They have an outside source called turbax.
