noise

pretty much all summer max performance tires are going to make noise. Some will be worse than others. As you corner hard the fronts will cup. The tire rack as a review of 16 tires including noise level i think. Goodyears rank 1st but not because they grip better than everything else, just overall all around. I have mich PS2, and they are a lot quieter than 050a. My friends 350 has so3 and they are fairly quiet now. The good thing is you can flip sides on the front which will eventually flatten them out. Just swap tires more often to reduce noise.

I called the infiniti dealership and they said you're not suppose to rotate the tires on the coupes. I asked why and was told it was due to the sizes of the front being different than the back.

If you read more threads about noise tires, you'll notice that a lot of people agree that the Pilot Sport tires are extremely loud. Once it's time to get new tires, I'm planning on getting PZero Nero tires. These tires were recommended to me by TireRack. They wont be as fast as the Pilot Sports, but they'll be a lot quiter and improve ride quality.
