Tires

HI all,
Yes, again I am looking for the replacement of my 2004 18' Perf package. First I had the stock Michelin Sport for about 17K, the second set of Michelin is about the same miles. I heard a lot of new tires with "not too bad" in quality so I wonder someone would able to give me some feedback. I was looking into:
Avon M550, YoKohama AVS ES100. Any suggestion??

Michelin Sport is a good tire, well handling but a bit more green in the wallet field. I dont mind to get Michelin Sport or 2!!!!!!

Those are good tires but obviously the handling won't be as good and they're heavier than the michelins. It's up to you how much you value performance over price. The pilot sport ps2 is the lightest and best street tire out there period.

Car and Driver did a review of performance tires recently. It seems pretty balance and thorough. Check it out if you want.

Thanks g35doc and binar for your input. Home, car and dating are costing too much, maybe I should settle down with a good charm lady! hehe

I'm really happy with the Toyo T1-R's I just put on my sedan. Though these tires didn't fare all that well in the Car & Driver test, they seem to be very quiet, however, I really haven't thrown them around much to see if the grip level is up over the stock Goodyear GS-D's.

ARoss-
I checked out the price for Toyo, it would be like another version of Michelin. But I glad you like it. I think I would go for Yokohama ES100 in the next month or so. I have twice of Michelin already, it was great, just a bit pricey. Thanks for sharing your info, please keep us in touch with the threatwear and condition of your Toyo...
