rear wheels in the front - front wided 10.5" and goes to rear

Some guy here takes his rear wheels to the machine shop with 2 more rear wheels and they make a 10.5 stock rim. Today I'm doing the same but i do it with the front wheels and then when they get finish i'll remove the rears to the front. I will have to remove the security pin that prevents the rear to be installed in the front and buy the 4-25mm spacers

I'm wondering if i use the spacers I will really need to remove that pin?

So...you're saying of taking stock rims and making them 10.5 wide at all four corners? I wouldnt' go more than 9.5 wide in the front.

I believe he's saying he's going to take the 8" front rims and have them widened to 10.5", then take the 8.5" stock rears, and move them to the front. Seems like the stagger will be too great though IMO.

Yeah, it is funny but when i measure it, both rims are 9" wide. I think that the rears that a buy from a salvage where from a G35 automatic, it's the only reason i think for both measure the same.

And another thing, Are'nt supouse that the rears are 9" and the front 8" for the OEM stock G35 6MT rims?

Depends what year you are talking about.

2003-2004, the 7 spoke rims are 8" all around.

2005+, the 19" rims are 8" in front, 8.5" in the rear.

Thanks for the answer, mine 2003, and another question, why it measure 9" and not 8"???

you measure from inside flange to inside flange, not outside edges.

Another final thing, if i use the H&R spacers of 25MM, will this enlarged stock wheel of 10.5" will fit?

take in mind that i have H&R springs 1.5" lower - if i have to change the springs, suggestions accepted - maybe Tein's or Eibachs?
