Maybe instead of warning people about the gas station, you could warn the gas station about their air guage.

I have an electric air compressor in my garage. I usually check the air in the mornings, after the car has sat overnight and the air in the tires is cold. Tires pressure gauges are a cheap investment. You should one and stash it in your glove box.

I had already did and they kept on refusing to believe there was a problem with it...So I just wanted to let my locals know.Originally Posted by boro240

megalow mart (walmart) has reasonable semi-pro type air compressors with a tank attached with tire inflation attachments standard.
these things hold like 100 PSI. highly recommended for anyone concerned about safety - best bet is to check and inflate your tires your self while they're still cold in your PJ's in the comfort of your own garage before you head out.
also get a decent gauge like the M-accu-gage - they sell them thru amazon.com now cheap.
also - get a plunger needle screw tool - like 99 cents. when I first got my G she'd lose a pound a week. slightly torqued down the valve needle thingy and she aint lost a single pound in the past month. yeehaw
