What do you think of these wheels?
i want to get everyones opinion on these wheels for my g. should i get them or not?

I like the look, despite the lack of a 'deep polished lip'. Although looks are important.. the quality of the rims must always be considered as well. Might want to research on the company.

I saw those on ebay as well - please post pics if you get them. I sent them an email and they said that they were only 26 lbs. Does this sound too good to be true for the $1355 price?

Make sure the wheels are fordged. You don't want a cast wheel. Fordged, the wheels is cut out of the metal block (Alluminum, Magneesiam) whatever it may be. Cast they pour it into a mold and the wheels are much weaker. Cast weels can break with mod upgrades, especially turbos and superchargers. [img]/w3timages/icons/cool.gif[/img]

It's not that the wheel is necessarily weaker overall, but the casting process produces a material that is weaker per pound. So, cast wheels tend to be heavier with thicker spokes to maintain the same strength.

how are 5zigens cheap? they are a reputable company, maaybe ur thinkin of another company. and to the guy purchasing wheels, another alternative is the Axis Hagen, which looks very similar to that wheel.

well.. most 5zigen rims are cheap, except for the 5zr's and the beckett forged (even though the becketts are priced quite nicely for a forged wheel). The downside of the becketts.. the sizes do not exceed 17 inches.
5zigen is a very reputable company... utilize their prices efficiently!
