I have the 17s (2004), no chrome. I don't like them. I think I will just get OEM 19s. Those are good right?

ill guarantee you the stock 18's and 19's would look 10x better than any $400 dollar rim.

I disagree. You can get Work Emotion CR Kai rims for $370 a piece. The 9.5" wide rims weigh < 20 pounds. I think they look better than the 19" stock rims. You'll note that they look similar, but I don't like how the stock 19" spokes stick out at the edge.

These Work rims come in bronze, Gun-Metal, and bright polished silver. And Work rims are just as good as Volk in my book.

I would get the Work emotion CR Kai or Enkei RP03.... IMO, RP03 looks better but to each of their own

What tires would you recommend for the OEM 19s?

Depends on how much. If theyre cheap then ya, but otherwise I would put the $$ towards 19s. Thanks.

It's not like the stock wheels have lip. I didn't say these rims were perfect. I don't think you'll find a decent set of rims with lip without paying some serious $$$. I know I wanted lip on my rims, that's why I had to dish out over 3 grand. But the poster asked about rims around $1500 that were decent, so that's why I suggested the Work Emotion CR Kai.

Yes, thankyou , I appreciate your help! However, now I have learned that I should stick with stock or pay more $$ for better ones.

I would upgrade to OEM 19's. You can find them for $1200 +/- with tires so it'll fit your budget. The OEM 19's are forged and very good quality. MUCH better quality than you'll find for that price.
