Rays Ion Plating? The new wheel trend?

Rays wheels showed off their new stainless jacket with ion plating at the TAS 2006. Anybody know anymore info about this? I like how it looks. If they put this into production... I've definately get a set. It has a nice burnt titanium look to it.

Those are hot, would love to see more styles and if they come in other colors. Wonder what some Gold with that lip would look like. Anyone have more info on prices, sizes, offsets, and weights? I'm looking at some rims right now, and man these look great.

yeah, i've seen them in person while attending TAS a couple weeks ago. i don't think it adds weight either. they're very nice, and would be perfect for IP, OB, and DP cars. many of the Rays wheels also have an updated lip too in stainless finishes for added durability, and maintenance. the Daytona's (1st pic) is currently only available in 18's too.
