Re: Ray's Wheel

I was lucky enough to own 2 sets of rays wheels. My first set was 17x7.5 gunmetal TE37's and it weighed about 15.5 lbs. My second set was 17x7.5 bronze CE28N's and it weighed about 13.9 lbs. They were both great rims, but I like the TE37's better than the CE28N's. I think TE37's are more durable than the CE28N's. CE28N's are somewhat brittle. By the way, one of my CE28BN's was bent. I bought my rims from www.optauto.com. These rims were on my previous car, so I sold the rims. But if I were to get it again, I would definitely consider the TE37's again.

Re: Ray's Wheel

Here's a link to the company that imports Ray's wheels. ie. Volk Racing wheels. Look here to find local distributors in your area.

Hope this helps!

Re: Ray's Wheel

jetcity, thanks for the link. I'm looking for a place that can get the new Volk Racing GT-7, and this gets me going in the right direction!

Re: Ray's Wheel

FYI, I just found out today that Discount Tire can get the Volk wheels as well; although they really just order them from the Wheel Warehouse in So. Cal. In any case, it might be a place to look, if they are in your area. The Volk wheels are great, and I'll be ordering my gunmetal GT-C's soon.

Re: Ray's Wheel

Here in the Seattle area, I was quoted $2995 for the GT-C's (2 are 8" wide, and 2 are 9" wide). These included Bridgestone S-03 PP tires, in 245/40/18 ands 275/35/18 respectively. This price was originally from another local specialty shop, but Discount will match the price. Discount originally quoted me $255 more for the same setup! I guess it pays to shop around a bit!

Re: Ray's Wheel

I am not affiliated with these ppl but they sell Rays wheels as well for Z owners. Basically, Z=G. So here are a couple of links:

Re: Ray's Wheel

i was chatting with one of the sellers on my350z.com and i was quoted ~1900 for the 18x8's shipped. they didn't want to do tires since they were drop shipping them from japan. i think i will check locally and see what kinda pricing i get, while waiting for someone to make 235s for our car.
