20" rims in Montreal

If you dont know montreal has some of the worst streets ever!!! and my question is, does anyone have 20" rims in the montreal area on a G35 coupe? if you do have you had any problem with bent rims? or ride issues??

Montreal here too

I have 19's and have problems...my 2 front rims are bent from all the pot holes

I don't live in Montreal but visit frequently and I must agree with you. You have some of the worst roads around. I can't understand why they don't fix them. Keep the stocks on your car bro. It's bad enough as it is trying to keep your suspension in one piece.

and they bent damn so should i stay oem 19" or can i pull off some 19" works or iforged witha profile of 35 or you think i am still at risk?

You can go either way, as long as you have a good size sidewall.

I'm using 245/35/19 in front and going 255/35/19 next, every little bit helps.

i was planing on going 245/35R19 and 275/35R19...know anyshops that would carry any good rims in the area? if not id get them shipped for calgary

Go see Johnny at Johnny's Motorsports on Saint-Martin west.

That's where I got mine and he's a cool guy too.

upon looking at the tire sizes it wont hurt to go 255 even 245/40 would work too

I ride on 18 inches OEM in montreal a few times a month and I would DEFINATLY not go for a drop or a lower tire profile than stock...

My coupe is my daily driver and I am definatly going to get hit one day because I brake to pass "train rail", "pot holes" and some parking entrance...

I hate the roads in Montréal. Good luck with dubs, thay'll get damaged for sure if you're not careful.

most definatly agree either in MTL or ottawa ..im originally from ottawa
