kramer tire + scratched rim

so i had a nail in the rear tire, and they repaired that, but ended up damageing the lip of my rim. Its nothing like a huge dent, but if you can imagine a penut sized black indent x4 thats what happend. Its from that machine they used to strip the rim of the rubber, seems to me like they used the lip of the rim as a fulcrum for thier crowbar-like tool.

Anyway, i paid the $40 for the rubber repair, and got the guy to write out the damage in writitng, and he said that they have some "wheel doctor" people who are supposed to be able to fix such damage on monday. Anyway, I've never dealt with a scratched rim, so is fixing it possible or is he f***ing with my head? Is there anything more i should do??

Sry for the long post, and thanks for the upcomming advice...

I just had a bent rim repaired by these guys, www.fixrim.com

They did a great job! I have aftermarket wheels with a similar finish to the stock 18's and they matched the finish 90% . If you get a copy of motortrend there is a coupon for them to get it done for $100

Rim repair is common, hopefully the "wheel doctor" will work out. If not, have them buy you a new rim.

Actually I saw a pickup truck the other day with had decals that said "Rim Doctor" written on it.
