Im not sure if this has been asked before, but since some Volk wheels are two piece, is it possible to special order just the rim barrel from Japan? I actually had to replace two of my SF Challenges from an accident, but now I have one front and one rear wheel with damaged rim edges but the centers are in fine condition. If I could get just the rim barrel then I could end up with a new spare front and rear wheel! Just a thought...

yes, it is possible. however, it will take long as fawk. it's also a hassle. you'll have to send in your damaged wheel, and then they'll replace the barrel, and send it back to you.

getting a new rim is much better.

 

Well I've got time to kill and already have the new ones, so I dont think I'd miss them much. Also, do you think I need to contact Mackin directly regarding this?

Update, I called Mackin direct inquiring about rim/wheel repair. The gentleman Brian I spoke with suggested using a service in the Southern California area called Fix A Rim. He made it clear that he was not "recommending" any particular repair service but that Fix A Rim would be his first on his mind.
