Tire width

I did some searches and found nothing useful so...

According to tirerack.com an 8in rim can handle a 255/45/18

So when I replace my tires if I went F 225/45/18 and R 255/45/18 (as opposed to 245) besides the .7 mph off at 60 from the speedo does anyone see any other possible problems?

THanks

no problems... i run a 245/40/18 on a 7.5" wide rim and its recommended for 8-9.5" some people will say the tire buldges but i dont think so. It's only an extra 10mm.
