offset question for 04 coupe

Hey, I am trying to get some wheels for the track, I have a 6mt 04 coupe. I found some falkens 18x8.5 with +38 offset. Are these going to work? I'm so confused if + is father in or out.

with a "+" ... the higher the number, the farther the face of the wheel is going be from the inner edge of the rim... someone correct me if im wrong

Anyone? Is the offset going to work over the brembos?

over the brembo's, probably not unless you use some spacers.

the more positive offset you have, the farther tucked in the wheel is going to be.
