Advans.

They score points with me cause they are REAL JDM - not that Volk isnt but Advan is more original at this point (due to Volks popularity)

but only get the Advans if your gonna SLAM ur G on them...

I have the split five spoke Volk Progressives. I don't think the Advan wheel is any lighter in weight than the Volks that I have. Volks are also very strong. I'm not sure how strong a hollow wheel would be.

Advan! T6 is a great looking wheel if you like the look w/o lips. Big lips are getting too trendy anyway. Also, way too many people have Volks but there aren't many G/Zs with Advans. If you happen to like the look w/ lips, look into Advan Sienna Gen II. Those are the most beautiful mesh wheels I have ever seen. They look amazing in person.

mykmar10, one piece forged wheel is always going to be lighter than a multi-piece wheel. I bet eleventy billion bucks that T6 is lighter than Progressives.

^ uh.. where'd you get this information?? lighter.. perhaps. stronger? i disagree.

t6 MAY be light due to the core cavity technology, however is a cast product. i've already heard problems with solid cast wheels cracking, how about a cast AND hollow wheel?

the volk is forged, therefore the grain structure is more dense. might be SLIGHTLY heavier than the t6.

both look similar, but the volks seem to be a cheaper wheel for their popularity during sales. my vote... the volks for their strength, lightweight, looks and pricing.

The Volk Prgressive is a one piece forged wheel.

advans are cool, but they tend to be heavy. If they had the SUPER ADVAN v2 in 19s , i'd be all over them. My buddy had the OG Super Advan's and they weighed a ton

The T6 is an aluminum one-piece cast wheel...i would expect them be pretty heavy, more expensive and take longer to receive

I have also seen the Progressiv TE's...the "tabs" look strange and out of place IMO...volks will be stronger and lighter than the advans because the are a one piece forged wheel

Good luck

Thanks for all the suggestions. It's good to see some good discussion on here of once comparing quality manufacturers.
