Question about offset for sedans

I'm thinking of going with 18"x8 40 offset in the front and 18"x8 20 offset in the rear because I have the same size tires already would this work or will it rub? and finaly will it look stupid

The +20 offset will NOT work. Consult the chart ^above^ for further info.
